Codebytes is a simple web framework that lets you achieve certain tasks with less code.

It started off as a joke project dedicated to the prompt method though it turned out to be rather useful.

Prompt

There are three prompt functions available

promptAlert()

This will immediately alert the user's response after a prompt.

promptAlert("Title");

Demo

promptAdd()

This will append the user's response to a specified element.

promptAdd("Title", "#div", "true");

"Title" is the heading of the prompt

"#div" is the div you want to append the response to. It can also be a class.

"true" adds a space before the appended response. You can leave this blank or change the value to make it false.

Demo

promptRemove()

This will remove all elements on the current page containing the user's response.

promptRemove("Title", "true");

"Title" is the heading of the prompt

"true" makes this case-sensitive

HTML Tags

tags()

This will convert shortened tags into elements.

h1("Text") will be converted into a <h1> tag.

tags("#div");

"#div" is the element to apply this function to
